Our TY students had a very early start on Tuesday 17th September 2024 to avoid the traffic heading to the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska. Luckily, traffic jams were avoided, and the Pres TYs enjoyed the tractor trailer lift to the entrance.
Being at the show early, meant that the TYs had the opportunity to enjoy all the aspects of the exhibition such as information stands for different products, government initiatives and farming issues, machinery, life stock, food stalls and entertainment stages.
After the bad weather last year, this group was delighted with the fine day. For many it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. As important Irish cultural heritage, it was definitely very educational – especially for our exchange students.
