European Language Day – 26th September 2024
The day started with music from all over Europe in the Assembly Hall to set the tone.
Students enjoyed a day packed with language activities such as Bingo in French and German for 2nd years, a quiz for 3rd years and European Treats at small break. There were also a poster and a Tongue Twister Competition for 1st years. Everyone was welcome to take part in “Guess the Flag” and there were lots of prizes won by students in all year groups. It was wonderful to see our students use their language skills throughout the day.
TY students from 4C took part in a project with Kerry County Council and Architecture Kerry under the supervision of Brendan from MakerMeet with the aim to construct a building from cardboard in just 4 sessions. The girls have been very busy preparing for the exhibition Friday 27th to Sunday 29th September 2024 as part of the Architecture Kerry 2024 Festival.
