TY students from our Digital Media module recently visited the Horizons recording studio located in St. John’s Parish Centre. During this visit, they recorded five reflections as a significant contribution to the Diocese of Kerry’s Online Mission, ‘Just a Thought.’ This daily feature typically involves the sharing of a brief, insightful, or inspirational message which is then broadcast on Radio Kerry. The purpose is to provide listeners with a moment of reflection, inspiration, or contemplation, creating a positive and thoughtful start to their day. The recordings coincided with our celebration of Presentation Day and were broadcast each morning at 7:30 am and again at 12 pm throughout the week of November 20th to 24th.
You can learn more about this experience and access the recordings on the Diocese of Kerry’s website: https://www.dioceseofkerry.ie/our-diocese/communications/horizons-radio/
