Members of the Sports & Football Department were delighted to welcome Mr Pa Laide, CEO of Cara Credit Union to the school on Tuesday, February 8th. Mr Laide, former Kerry football & All Ireland winner, generously donated €2,100 toward the footballing teams of Presentation Tralee. Thanks to him, the school were able to source stunning new kits, jerseys, jackets and other essential items. So far this year, our football teams have had a successful run of wins against schools from Pobal Scoil Chorca Dhuibhne and Presentation Listowel. We eagerly await the next round of the new Kerry LGFA Junior Schools competition after midterm, while our first year footballers will kick off their campaign in March, partaking in the Kerry Schools Competition.
