Congratulations to Ciara Murphy in 2nd year on having her project titled: "Calculators x (Over Reliance + Over Usage + Utilisation at an early age) - Practicing of Mental Maths = Reduced Mental Arithmetic skills + National Under Performance " selected to compete in the virtual finals of the BT Young Scientist Exhibition.
It is a great achievement to be one of 550 selected projects out of 1400 applications! Ciara's project will examine if calculator usage is negatively impacting the mental arithmetic skills of students in Ireland. Well done and best of luck Ciara!
