As Principal and on behalf of the hardworking and dedicated staff and Board of Management of Presentation Secondary School, Tralee, I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We are a school community situated in the heart of the beautiful town of Tralee with a proud tradition of Presentation education dating back to 1809, when the Presentation Sisters came to Tralee to teach the children of the area.
Today, our school continues to maintain an inclusive educational community with a very special and unique teaching and learning environment which is underpinned by the educational vision of Nano Nagle and the Presentation congregation.

Our school is a CEIST school in the Presentation tradition where students are valued member of a caring community that is underpinned by strong moral values and a robust pastoral care framework. Our Catholic ethos underpins all of what we do in the school. We offer a holistic education which is inclusive and respectful of diversity. Each student is a valued member of our school. When our students leave our care, it is our aim that they will be confident, well-adjusted and fulfilled member of the wider community.
At Presentation Tralee we have a longstanding tradition renowned for our academic excellence and we take immense pride in the care and support we provide to all our students, especially our students with additional needs. We are a school with a vibrant and strong, well-established community, partnership with parents, external agencies and local organisations. We have a committed, talented and caring teaching staff who not only fully support students during their time in Presentation, but also ensure they are challenged academically and supported to enable them to reach their full potential.
Here in Presentation students will be treated with kindness, respect and fairness and will be afforded many opportunities to excel both within and outside the classroom. They will benefit from high-quality teaching and learning and an extensive extra -curricular programme which will enable them to develop personally and socially and enhance their confidence, resilience and wellbeing.
