Pres Got Talent 2019 – Winners!

December 19, 2019

The third annual Pres Got Talent show took place on Monday 16th December.  After weeks of practice and a long rehearsal on Saturday, excitement was at fever pitch by Monday morning. The first show took place at 10am to a full house and was enjoyed by students and teachers. The second show, at 2pm saw the school seniors and parents attend. This year solo singers, sisters, and friends performed  wonderful songs  as well as musicians, two puppet acts and a comedy act. In all there were 25 acts – a fine feast of variety from Pres students. On Tuesday the winners were announced and presentations of prizes were made in the Sports hall.   The overall winner was Sarah Cleary. Joint second place went to Antonia Gergely and Joy Munyoro. Third place went to sisters Marvellous and Queensly Uzama. This year the Judges’ prize went to concertina  player Katie Allman Moriarty , while Best Singer was  Caoimhe Ryan Donnelly. Best Group was “ Little Red Riding Hood” puppet act with Eva and  Korina Fogadic and Karolina Wallanus. Most Original Act went to comedian Kerry Oba and The People’s Choice went to 6th year Precious Benjamin.  Great credit must go to all our fantastic performers, to Ms. Prendeville  and the wonderful students from the SRC  and to Ms. Lynch and all the teachers who supported the show again this year.  Thanks for our judges David Rath, Clem O’Keeffe and Caroline O’Callaghan for giving of their time so generously.

We look forward to Pres Got Talent 2020!
