The new Home Economics course for 4th Years got off to an exciting start this year with the addition of the boys from the Green joining our own 4th year girls for the first 6 week module.
All the students brought with them enthusiasm and a real willingness to learn some basic cooking skills.
Brown bread and soup, meatballs and pasta and chocolate brownies were a few of the dishes the students produced.
We are not convinced many people saw what the boys cooked as they seemed to have most of their dishes eaten before even leaving the room.
The students will return in the New Year for the Second Module and we are sure they will continue to develop skills that they will use throughout their lives.
