All parents and guardians of children attending Presentation are members of the Parents’ Council. An active Parents’ Council is essential to the effective running of our school. It is the primary forum at which parent voice can be expressed and heard. It is also the main forum at which parents can be involved in the formation of school policies, all of which have a direct impact on your daughter’s experiences here in Pres.
The primary purpose of the Council is to ensure that your daughter’s experience here at Pres. is a happy, fulfilling and rewarding one. For this to happen, it is essential that parents’ voices are used and are heard.
Each year at the Parents’ Council AGM a steering committee is formed which comprises a chairperson, secretary and treasurer. The committee meets regularly to discuss issues of concern and to plan events. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings.
