We are thrilled to share with you some monumental news that will shape the future of our school. Through dedicated efforts and unwavering commitment to providing the best possible educational experience for our students, we are pleased to announce a multi-million-euro funding injection that will usher in a new era of excellence.
Minister Norma Foley visited Presentation Secondary School on Friday, November 10th to meet with Mairéad Finucane, the school Principal, Brendan Walsh, the Chairperson of the Board of Management, staff and students.
Education Minister Norma Foley said that the funding would provide Presentation Secondary School with new state-of-the-art facilities to continue its proud tradition of education in Tralee.
“This funding will provide tailored, modern facilities which will ensure that education provision in Presentation Secondary School will continue to thrive and flourish.”
“Today’s announcement is an endorsement of the excellence in education that is provided every day in the school. I look forward to the project developing at pace.”
The significant funding received will be utilised to create state-of-the-art specialist rooms that cater to a diverse range of disciplines. We are delighted to unveil plans for cutting-edge facilities in music, science, technology, graphics and textiles. These specialised rooms will be meticulously designed to foster creativity, innovation, and a hands-on approach to learning.
Here’s a glimpse of what the funding will bring:

In addition to these exciting additions, we are overjoyed to announce the establishment of a two-classroom Special Educational Needs (SEN) base. This inclusive environment is designed to provide tailored support for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that every child receives an education that suits their individual requirements.
