Met Éireann have issued the following Orange level weather warning for Kerry, Limerick, Cork, Clare, Galway and Mayo;
Southwesterly winds veering westerly will reach mean speeds 65 to 80km/h with gusts generally of 100 to 130km/h, higher in coastal regions. Storm surges will produce coastal flooding and damage.

The school will remain open in orange level weather conditions however if the status level changes to Red then the school will remain closed for the duration of the warning.
