Leaving Cert Graduation 2020

May 18, 2020

Pres Tralee celebrated the first ever online 6th year graduation on Friday, May 15th at 11.00 . While it was not the same as being in our local St. John’s Church with fellow students, family, teachers and Fr. Seán Jones, our school Chaplin nonetheless it was a lovely occasion for everyone. Bean Uí Néill introduced Fr Seán who joined us by video and we began with a blessing. Ms Kelly, Ms Kennelly and our two head girls, Niamh Rahilly and Allanah O’Sullivan all spoke. Sarah Cleary sang our school anthem “Who will light the lantern” to bring the formal element of the morning to a conclusion. Class teachers: Ms. Walsh, Mr. Cullotty, Ms. O’Flannagan, Ms. Twomey, Ms. Jaeger and Ms Prendiville all took their individual classes for the final online session.
The afternoon saw teachers deliver the time capsule letter, a special commemorative card and a yellow friendship rose to each student’s house.
Guímid gach rath ar Rang na hArdteiste 2020.
