A new joint Schools & Gardaí initiative means that Presentation Secondary School will now have supervisors in the town park at morning and lunchtimes. This initiative is in place to increase the safety of all students. Other elements of the initiative will see Presentation Secondary School, CBS the Green and Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí working with An Garda Síochána, to increase awareness of the role of An Garda Síochána in the community and see increased communication between the school communities and the Gardaí.
Mr John O Mahony and Mr Gary Kavanagh will be in the park each morning and each lunchtime during the term.
