The term of the current Board of Management of Presentation Secondary School will come to a close this September. A new Board will be appointed for a three-year term. The Board meets appoximately 9 times per year at 4.30pm in the afternoon.
The process for the election of persons to the Board of Management of this school is governed by the Education Act 1998. As stated in the act, the parent body has a right to nominate two members to the new board, one male and one female.
If you would like to put your name or the name of another parent forward, please fill out the nomination form and return to my office in a sealed envelope marked (BOM Nomination).
Please check that nominees are happy to accept the position and have a child in the school for the full term of the Board.
In the event of more than one name being put forward for each position there will be an election. The election will take place by ballot during the AGM of the Parents Council. This meeting will take place in the school on Monday 23rd September 2019 at 7.30 pm.
