We celebrated European Day of Languages on Thursday 26th September with fun activities such as quizzes and a Teddy naming competition.
The winners of the First Year Poster Competition for Language Day were Kate Fitzsimons, Alexandra O’Sullivan and Saoirse Mehigan (missing in the photo) who made the best French posters.
Doriana Salihu, Alice Brosnan and Annie O’Reilly made the best German posters.
Rosie Giles correctly guessed the name for the German Teddy”Heidi” and Hala Romi guessed “Natalie” for the French Teddy.
We also had a taste of France and Germany in the Assembly Hall at lunchtime.
Thanks to our TYs and the Language Teachers for a great day!
