After much anticipation, the annual sports afternoon started at 2pm today. It began with a warm up organised by the 4th years. Then the fun began...........100m, 200m and 400m races for Junior and Seniors. Novelty games like the egg and spoon, three-legged race and the wheel barrow race proved to be very popular among the students. In keeping up with tradition, our 6th years put together some amazing outfits for their Fun Run - the colours resplendent in the afternoon sun.........To complete a brilliantly organised sports day, the annual Teachers versus 6th Years Spikeball game was held. The teachers got off to a shaky start with the 6th years winning the first 5 points without answer from the teachers. But in good old fashion style, once the teachers found their rhythm, there was no stopping them. The teachers ran away with it in the end.........!!!! just ask them.........
Well done to all involved in organising this very successful and enjoyable afternoon.
