  • All students must attend at the scheduled times every day:

                  Mon. Tues. 8.55 - 1.15 1.55 - 4.00

                  Wed. Thurs. Fri 8.55 - 1.15 2.10 - 3.35

  • Students are expected to be present each day.
  • Students are expected to maintain high standards of punctuality throughout the day.
  • Students are requested to get into the routine of being at school on time.
  • Students who arrive late disrupt the class and miss important instruction time.
  • When a student is late, the reason for her lateness must be clearly stated on one of the Note to/from Parent/Guardian (Blue colour) (Appendix VI) provided at the back of the student contact journal and presented to the office on entry to the school.
  • The counterfoil of the late note is stamped with the school stamp and must be shown to the subject teacher.
  • The subject teacher will enter the code Late Valid on the E-portal system.
  • When a student does not present a signed Note to/from Parent/Guardian (Blue colour) to the office the subject teacher will enter the code Late on the E-portal system.
  • If a student arrives to school after 9.40 a.m. she must sign the Late Book in the office.
  • Students who sign the late book are entered by the administration staff on the student’s database on Facility Admin as Late if no note is provided or Late Valid if a note is provided to explain their absence.

  • Mobile phones must be switched off and out of sight at all times in the school, including break time and lunchtime.
  • Any student in breach of this rule will be required to hand over her phone with SIM card to a teacher.
  • Parents/Guardians will be notified and the student may reclaim the phone after five school days from the Deputy Principal.
  • It is strictly forbidden to use your mobile phone to take photos, video or audio recordings while on the school premises or during a school - based activity.
  • The school will take a very serious view of a breach of this rule, particularly if there is an invasion of the privacy of others, or if your actions could cause damage to their reputation and/or to the reputation of the school.

(It is worth noting that, even with friends on social occasions, you should have a person’s permission before taking his/her photo.)

Students should ONLY be contacted (when absolutely necessary), through the school office and not via their personal mobile phones during school hours. When necessary students can contact home, also through the school office.

  • Parent - teacher meetings are held outside of school hours at various times of the year as outlined in the school calendar.
  • The meetings are usually held in various rooms around the school given the large number of staff members involved the main Assembly hall, classrooms G and T which open off the Assembly hall to the left, as well as the first and second year social areas. There are always staff members available to direct you to the correct location.
  • The purpose of parent - teacher meetings is to provide the opportunity for you to discuss with each teacher your daughter’s progress in a particular subject.
  • Please bring your daughter’s contact Journal with you to parent-teacher meetings.
  • In preparation for the Parent-Teacher Meeting, have a written list of all of your daughter’s teachers, the subjects and the level at which your daughter is taking the different subjects. It is also useful to bring a pen so that you may take down key points of information if necessary.
  • Each teacher has many parents to see, so it is important to be considerate of others, and not to delay unnecessarily.
  • If you feel a more in-depth discussion of a particular matter is necessary, please arrange to make a further appointment to see the teacher/year head
